Chris Lynch has been a CLR volunteer since May of 2025. In that time, he has given 79 hours towards driving change in the community and driven 1,116 miles. He is no stranger to volunteer work. While he was living in Los Angeles, he coordinated a group of volunteers to lead visually impaired hikers to the top of Baldy Summit. Their adventure traversed the summit to a documentary film and inspires us all.
Chris started volunteering with CLR when he saw the need first-hand and recalls, “One day, I saw an older lady walking very slowly down 31, kind of in a dangerous spot, and I pulled over and gave her a ride to the bank. I realized that we can’t allow this to happen anymore. I’ve done a lot of volunteering, and this is the best bang for your buck. It is not a big ask to give someone a ride, but the people who need it get so much out of the service. It gives them their independence.”
Thank you, Chris, for strengthening our community with your unwavering service!
